The liniLED® banister with LED lighting emphasises Tammerkoski’s national landscape in Finland. The ambitious lighting project was completed with the innovative liniLED® Handrail with integrated lighting, supplied by our partner Hedtec.
Concept
‘In addition to good lighting to guarantee safety, we wanted a high-quality and stylish design that fits the cultural-historical landscape of the area and emphasises this in the right way”, says project development manager Markus Joonas of the Tampere Five-Star Center development program.
Solution
The liniLED® Handrail was absolutely the best combination solution, both technically and visually. In order to place the illuminated handrail in the banister construction as elegantly as possible, Hedtec has had inconspicuous brackets made, specially tailored for the banister of Vapriikinraitti.
The 270-metre-long Vapriikinraitti hiking trail, which was fully constructed at the end of October, has been very well received by the townspeople. It became a tribute to the Tammerkoski National Landscape that runs through downtown Tampere.
