Groeneveld Castle is not a real castle, but a country house from the 18th century, which was privately owned until 1940. House and estate often changed hands and some owners conducted radical changes to the house or garden. It lies in the over 130-acre estate Groeneveld in Baarn owned by the Forestry Commission.

Solution

Groeneveld Castle was since 1982 the National Centre for forest, nature and landscape. Since 2007 exhibitions and events are being organized on nature and landscape.

During the last renovation (2012) the original kitchen in the basement was restored to its former glory. After a year of remodelling, the country house is open again. In the main building the coves of the ceiling are lit with 51 metres LED lines. ITN from Ede who did the technical installation, has chosen liniLED® Deco in the colour Natural White.
